What services do you believe are most important for the ACT?
| Parks and wildlife services. Green waste and recycling services. Biodiversity programs such as weed swap services |
How can the ACT Government deliver current services more efficiently and productively or to better meet the needs of Canberrans? | Transitioning from 'garden waste' green bins to 'green waste' (i.e. all compostable materials, including food). Transitioning to having faster, more efficient bus into light-rail feeder loops, rather than wasteful, slow, long bus loops through suburbs. |
Are there particular services that you think the ACT Government can improve? | Bus network is still not right - buses should support the light rail in areas around the light-rail corridor (with feeder loops) and ferry people to the light rail, not have long windy services that still go all the way into the city. |
What can the ACT Government do to make Canberra even more liveable? | Focus more on our status as 'the Bush Capital'. Tactics such as less hard-surfaces in new suburbs, more protections for things like our forest parks. |
