What services do you believe are most important for the ACT? Public transport and infrastructure.
How can the ACT Government deliver current services more efficiently and productively or to better meet the needs of Canberrans?Run more buses (especially on weekends), extend light rail, and put separated cycled paths on all streets.
Are there particular services that you think the ACT Government can improve? Now that there is light rail on Northbourne Avenue the road is way too wide. Three lanes of car traffic both ways is really terrible and unnecessary. The width of Northbourne Avenue should be reduced by one lane and replaced by a proper separated bicycle path. More separated bicycle paths in general would make it safer and encourage people to cycle more.
What can the ACT Government do to make Canberra even more liveable? There are far too many cars and car parks in the city. The worst is Parkes Way, a highway, running right through the city. This should be converted to a normal city street. This would be much more useful and would increase business and recreational activity in Civic. It is not even useful from any direction to travel by car across Civic the way it does because there are much better options for this.
