What services do you believe are most important for the ACT?

Health, especially mental health care. hospitals saw double the mental health ward admissions this year and the hospitals were overrun. As a volunteer wildlife carer, reptile coordinator, committee member, wombat, possum and bird carer (again all volunteer) I work full time with no pay. I am absolutely amazed that the government does not care at all for its native animals. Its relying on people like me to pick up all the slack. They give us pennies that might cover a years worth of phone costs, compared to infrastructure and infrastructure is spending it wrecklessly. I hear stories from tradie mates who say they had a million left over and decided to blow it on new fancy trucks and computers that they didn't need. A street in my neighborhood was repaved and it didn't even need it, that must have cost at least 10,000. We receive horror stories from concerned citizens watching bulldozers cut through forests that have been there for millions of years. It is illegal to kill a native animal but a lot of tradies do so without thought, such as burying wombats alive or not recovering fallen nests. We've received many complaints about trees that were zoned to not be cut down being ignored.

How can the ACT Government deliver current services more efficiently and productively or to better meet the needs of Canberrans? We need to give more money to rangers and wildlife care services. we are the bush capital, we live closer to nature and animals then any other Australian state, but our government does not care. Minister of Environment cant do anything to help us because they also receive scraps. I think upgrading park rules such as "Do not feed the birds" and then a reason why, ie, the birds will develop rickets and malformed feathers will better keep people from doing it. Most people, including myself before wildlife care, assumed bread just made a bird fat, not all of the severe medical repercussions that come from it.
Are there particular services that you think the ACT Government can improve?I already blew my lid in the first two comments :P I do think there need to be more police out there, especially in regards to speeding and tail gating.
What can the ACT Government do to make Canberra even more liveable? The road rage/tail gating, speeding is the most anxiety giving thing in Canberra for me. I'm only 30 years old, i cant imagine how scary it is for our elderly. Some suburbs are not doing well, like Calwell, our shops are so mundane, and the play area in front is horrible. Theres two swings that sometimes work and thats about it, besides all the rubbish and beer cans.
